As part of the exciting next phase of Yorktown Center, the addition of over 700 residential units will continue to enhance the local community and the surrounding area. The new residences will create dynamic walkable destinations to Yorktown Center, offering a broad range of shops, dining, entertainment, and fitness studios. These residences will drive the beginning of the long-term plans for the property to reposition the center and ensure it meets the needs of the community for generations to come.

The new park will engage shoppers and residents with unique events, pop-up markets, concerts, art activations and much more. A two-phase redevelopment of the 12+ acre vacant department store site is currently underway. The project includes Yorktown Reserve luxury multi-family buildings, a 1+ acre park designed as a communal outdoor environment, and newly energized dining and shopping destination.
Phase one of the project is slated for completion in Spring 2026 and includes the demolition of the former Carson’s building, construction of a multi-family residential building, creation of a large communal park space, and peripheral modifications to the shopping center to create a seamless connection to the new residential units.
Adjacent to this redevelopment, plans are underway for an additional 90-unit residential community called Summit at Yorktown, which also includes a communal green space and elevated in home amenities. The project involves phased construction of the residential units, and demolition of the convenience center is currently underway.
This project marks the next evolution in our strategic masterplan and vision for Yorktown Center. Adding a vibrant mix of uses where people will want to live, shop, dine and be entertained ensures the viability of the shopping center and will enhance the local community for generations to come.
